Roger (Ronnie) Herlihy gave the tour of St. Joseph’s, as he generously does during the summer months for free, just to pass on knowledge about the fascinating history of the cemetery.
In 2016, Ronnie published his fascinating book ‘Among the stones – a history of St. Joseph’s cemetery’, telling the history of St. Josephs since it was a botanic Gardens, and describing the lives of some of those who are buried there.
