There was a great turn-out for the parade and re-enactment, considering the inclement weather. The pageant went ahead despite the rain, marching from the Lough to Ballyphehane park for a re-enactment of the 1916 executions.
The march was led by Phoenix Historical Society Colour Party, and the CIE bus that commemorated the women in Cumann na mBan was also in attendance for the day.
Cabra Centenary Re-enactment group gave a great performance in Ballyphehane Park. This group did the re-enactment of O’Donovan Rossa’s funeral, in Dublin in 2015.
